Percy Arms, Alnwick

Another pleasant village local that seems to cater for locals and drinkers alike. Arriving a mid-afternoon on a Thursday, no food was being served. But there were still a handful of other drinkers in the main L-shaped bar. The dining area is just beyond, with the door to it closed. Just the 3 real ales were on - Timothy Taylor Landlord, Rigg & Furrow Run Hop Run & Allendale Wolf. Weston's Old Rosie cider occupied a fourth handpull. I've always enjoyed Allendale beers and found the Wolf in good form here too, despite the lure of Old Rosie!
