The George, Twickenham

I watched the first half of the Man U(re) game in here on Saturday afternoon and didn't really come out with any complaints other than the lack of and positioning of the seating. The match was on the projector screen and the TVs at the back whilst a rugby game was being shown on the plasma at the front of the pub. The pub also shows sport on Setanta and there is a pool table towards the rear. I found the staff to be friendly enough and the prices to be very reasonable. Landlord and various bog standard lagers were available from the bar. It's a fairly large pub that i'd imagine lacking atmosphere when no sport is being aired. I would pop in if I was passing by and another match was on.
