The Magpie & Crown, Brentford

The governor here spends a lot of time caring for the great range of beers that he gets in and he begrudges anyone that stumbles in that is unknowledgeable – which I think is a little unprofessional, but it is his pub and he calls the shots. There is a bar billiards table at the rear which is a rarity in these parts and there is also a TV, but no Sky Sports as this is an Ale drinker’s pub. Great time if you don't order the Fosters!
