The Temple, Manchester

I visited this pub whilst on a birthday trip in Manchester, the barmaid was friendly, the beer (Erdinger) was excellent (all 8 bottles I had) and the highlight was a half an hour conversation I had with a very nice bearded man the the named Guy and his mate Saul. We then went to some rubbish bar called rain after that and the evening took a bit of a dip.

This converted public convenience just off Oxford Street is situated down a flight of stone steps.On entering i was served by a friendly helpful barman who put some music on brought my drink over along with a morning paper,and then hastefully proceeded to level the wobbly table i was sitting alongside.This was an excellent service but with Tetley Bitter at £3 10p a pint it was reflected in the price.I enjoyed my brief stay and is definitly worth a visit but dont expect The Ritz.
