The Bird In Hand, Patricroft, Salford

The Bird in Hand is a strange looking pub,that looks a bit like a chapel,the pub is situated next to the Spinners Arms,but set forward of it. Once inside there was a decent sized smartish room,that seemed different to most Holts tied houses i have been in,the room was comfortable enough. The pub is a Joseph Holt tied house,there were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Holts Mild which went down very well,the other beer was Holts Bitter. This was a decent enough pub but very different to the other Joseph Holt houses in Eccles. Pub first visited 21/3/1987 Photo taken 18/11/1995
