The first thing you notice when entering this pub is the sheer number of bric-a-brac hanging from the ceiling. I've never seen so many pots and pans, jugs and vessels adorned in one space. The pub is a Fullers house and there were four Fullers Ales on the bar. The pub has a friendly and jolly atmosphere and has a good traditional pub vibe to it. There is a Thai restaurant, which is part of the pub at the rear, which was busy on our visit.

What a great little locals boozer.Friendly landlord and a good selection of 5 Fullers beers.Doubt this pub has changed much since I last visited 20 years ago.

Grand looking corner pub decked with plants and stuff. A U shaped bar room wrapped around a single bar with a Thai restaurant to the rear. Lots of artefacts hung from the ceiling, rather like a shop that sells reclaimed stuff, and a bust of Winston Churchill sat at one end of the bar. Fuller’s pub selling Fuller’s beers(!) – a good place, bit of a novelty but probably the most interesting pub on my day out.
