The Three Nuns, Loughborough

Me & hubby visit this pub for a cracking pub lunch when I can finally persuade him to take me shopping in Loughborough

The bold, green signage looks a bit brash against the white-painted walls, but the dark wood interior is rather more inviting. The front bar is pretty cosy on a cold winter day, but there is also a rather larger seating area further back. Strangly, the brewery branding seems to have been taken down from the frontage but there is a good range of Everards beer on the eight handpumps, plus Bath Ales Festive (£2.85) on as a guest. Pretty good overall, and the traditional building has a fine setting next to the main churchyard.
