Starkey Arms, Hopwood, Heywood

A large Holts pub with a very smart lounge on the left hand side and a two level tap room on the right. There's a dartboard, pool table and jukebox in the tap which was rather boisterous with the after work on my Friday early evening visit. The lounge is much quieter apart from a massive TV screen showing Tipping Point which was very intrusive. 3 handpumps on the bar with 2 clipped, serving Holts Bitter and Two Hoots. The Two Hoots was a good pint and as usual with Holts pubs, very reasonably priced. It's a good pub, shame about the massive TV.
