The King Lud, Ryde

The King Lud is a nice looking pub with a mock tudor front,the pub is on the sea front and opposite esplanade train station,so is is handy if waiting for a train back to the ferry. Once inside there was one room that was fairly comfortable,the room was carpeted and had normal tables and chairs. When we visited this pub it was a Whitbread tied house but thwre were no real ales on here the only bitter were keg Whitbread beers so wew had a drink of Guinness. This was a decent enough pub it was a shame that there were no real ales on here. Pub visited 18/2/1999

Nice bar, very friendly and opens at 10.30am so good for a hair of the dog from the night before. Nice pint of Guiness served here.
