Lord Grenfell, Maidenhead

Am happy to report that this pub continues to move in the right direction, from one of the last pubs you would consider to visit in Maidenhead to be one of the first. Now rebranded as ‘The Guardsman’s Inn’ and branding itself as an Ale and Pie House, under its previous guise it used to be an average beer house with a less than desirable clientele But the new landlord has swept that all away, done the place up, got rid of the undesirables and greatly improved the beer and the food. The plan to add local ales to the GK range has now been achiceve and there is now up to 8 real ales available and a couple of Rebellion brews were available along with the GK range below, as well as real cider. And , although I did not try it, home cooked pub food is now advertised.
