Decent enough ale house down a cobbled pedestrian street. A bit of an anti climax after Barrels, as there was no atmosphere generated by the four other (and one dog) patrons. Unusually, a Bass Premium on. This got my untappd/twitter followers excited, but stupidly I forgot to ask if this was a guest or permanent!

Located on a pedestrianised lane near the cathedral, this pub has two compact seating areas separated by a wood-panelled wall and the bar along one side. Basic, alehouse-style furniture, with a tiled floor at the front and bare wooden boards at the back. Patio beer garden out back. Having just come out of the Covid-19 lockdown, only two of the six handpumps were in use, offering Wainwright (£3.85) and Doom Bar.
