The Plough, Tadley

Tiny rustic little village pub ,basically one room although has a nook and cranny aspect to it.It was well populated on my midweek lunchtime visit.The walls and ceiling beams were furnished with horse brasses and various agricultural harnesses and other devices.On the bar were two handpumps dispensing Ringwood Best and Palmers Dorset Gold,behind the bar were 4 firkins, two in operation, two resting,available were,West Berks Mr Chubb's Lunchtime Bitter,and something from Loddon Brewery I fail to remember.My pint of Mr Chubb's went down very well aided and abetted with a Bacon and Brie Baguette.A top country pub and if you can get there ,do so.
