This pub is set back from the road by a large car park and plenty of outside seating. It is a lovely looking pub, but unfortunately it seemed very food orientated and the vast majority of customers were families that had brought down three or four generations. This would have been perfect if I had come down with my folks in tow, but I hadn't on this occasion. I entered the pub via the left hand door and ordered a nice pint of AK before exiting out of the right hand door. I found the ceiling getting lower after every step and I thought that I was going to have to crawl out of the pub, which is a regular occurrence. Thankfully I made it back outside and found a nice spot on the gravel in the front garden. If I lived locally this would never become my regular drinking spot, but it is a nice enough pub that is deservedly very popular.
