The Hare & Hounds, Uckfield

The Hare & Hounds is the solitary pub in the village of Framfield. It has a reasonably large outdoor drinking area, with some covered seating and a children's play area. At the front, there were also a couple of bench seats, which were being occupied by a group who had parked a couple of vintage steam engines outside. These were proving to be quite an attraction. When enquiring about real ales, I was only offered Harvey's Sussex Best Bitter. Whilst a drinks menu was provided, I couldn't initially locate the real ales and ended up ordering a soft drink, as I was driving. Closer inspection of the menu also revealed a Three Acre Hazy Pale, which I should have plumped for.
