The New Inn, Biggleswade

This old coaching inn has been well described below. There was no sign of the XX mild on my visit but there were four rather mainstream GK beers, IPA, OSH, Abbot (doubled) and Belhaven Kittiwake. Others were Fuzzy Duck (I think) Cunning Stunt (doubled), Mighty Oak Running Man and Charles Wells Eagle IPA but the most interesting was a Plum Porter from their own microbrewery badged under the name Brewhouse. I went for this one (£3.70 including discount) and it was in great condition. It has a more understated plum flavour than the more ubiquitous Titanic one but is probably sweeter. I liked this place a lot and would liked to have seen more of the home brewed stuff available. It's GBG 2018 listed.
