The Smuggler, Hastings

A year later, we came back. A bank holiday, and the place was deserted. Could it be the attitude of the rotund chap behind the bar? It's certainly put me off going back. 1 June 2008 Popped in for a swift half whlst walking from Rye to Hastings. Had slighly more than just the half (hic!) As well as the ubiquitous Greene King IPA and London Pride they had Harveys (obligatory fo most Sussex pubs) and also the Dark Star mild. Very nice! Whilst our party didn't eat here, plenty of people were eating, and the food looked smashing. It's somewhere I intend to come back to. If only it wasn't so inaccessible unless someone drives....
