The Edinburgh, Brighton

Another decent pub. It seems to be aimed at the younger crowd. We had a quick drink of Harvey's Sussex Best.

Sky Sports was on, but not attracting much attention on my recent lunchtime visit. The whole pub was attracting very little interest, to be honest, but there are many other options in the area. I expect it gets busier later. Inside, its pretty much a long room, sunlit at the front on the day, but gloomier towards the rear. There's some seating outside on Buckingham Street for smokers and sunseekers. The bar's right in front of you as you enter. 3 ales on offer - 2 nationals, but I went for the local option of Downlands Root Thirteen, which hit the spot. It's not my number one option in the streets around Brighton Station, but it could be worth a look-in from time to time.

3 real ale taps 2 on during my visit. Food served.
