The Druids Head, Brighton

Dating back to the 16th century with at least two smugglers tunnels to its name The Druid's Head offers a wide range of beers and lagers. Food wise - the dishes are straight forward 'pub grub' but the quality is excellent and the portions on the generous side. (Try the steak and Ale Pie and you won't need to eat for the rest of the day!). Outside seating to watch the world go by fills up quickly and the inside is full of dark wood - to find the loo you push what appears to be a bookcase!!

Nice looking pub on an open square. They have Cask Marque accreditation and I had a decent pint of Old Peculiar and also spotted Addlestones cider. The pot on the bar for "Staff Tips" shows it's target market.
