A big Victorian pub that was restored to a reasonably historic if not very authentic feel by Taylor Walker and then had the finer trimmings removed by Greene King, but does still have a considerable amount of dark wood with some leather seating. It i... [more>]

Decent Spoon's with a good selection of guests on. There were at least 6 when I called with a couple from Sambrook's, Old Dairy Bluetop IPA, Otter Bright and Tillingbourne Dormouse. I had the latter which was fine. Worth a visit.
