The pub was quite busy on my Thursday lunchtime visit with plenty of diners inside and a good crowd sat outside in the sunshine.There wax 4 cask pumps and 6 kegs on the go and found this the better of the 2 pubs in the Bondgate Green area.

CLOSED Ripon pub in the market square,that has been closed for a lot of years,and is now The Edinburgh Wollen Shop.
