The Norman King was being refurbished in 2011 when it was destroyed by fire after an arson attack (the perpetrator was later jailed). The damage was too severe to allow any of the building to be saved, and it was demolished.

The Fancott has a bar to the left as you enter with a snug up a step to the far left end. The bar has a tiled floor and is quite comfortable. There is a gramophone in one of the seating alcoves. The snug is carpeted and has walls lines with pictures ... [more>]
