I thought the Boot Inn was the nicer of Calstock's two pubs. It's hidden away in the backstreets, a little up the hill from the river. Opening times are limited to Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday evenings and Sunday lunchtimes. So, time your v... [more>] |

The Tamar Inn has a lovely setting next to the River Tamar and the railway viaduct over it. The large room has slate tiles and exposed stone walls. However, the effect is spoiled by a profusion of England flags. I spotted at least one TV in a corner.... [more>] |
