The Harbour Inn is decorated in a modern style. The room is split into two parts, the rear part beyond the bar being up 3 steps. It is very brightly lit with slate tile flooring and walls painted purple and white. Canvas pictures from a local artist are for sale on the walls. There are a few plants dotted around for good effect too. Banquettes in the rear room were definitely on the gaudy side. Like the Royal Standard nextdoor, reggae music was playing for some reason.
An outdoor verandah affords nice views of the harbor, whilst there is a "beach" area opposite the coastal walkway with some picnic tables. Drinks will be served in plastic glasses, if you are sat there.
There are 3 handpulls at the bar, with Otter Ale & St Austell Tribute being the regular beers. The third was clipped with St Austell 1851 for my visit. Harbour Arctic Sky was available on keg. Ciders were Thatcher's Gold, Healey's Rattler & Kopparberg. Hot drinks are also available, with apple pie looking quite tempting on the bar. Many tables were reserved for later in the evening, presumably for evening meals.
This pub felt quite touristy and also felt like a typical seaside pub. I can't say that I really took to it but it could well be a nice place for a meal in the evening.

As described by others, below. Given that it was a seaside pub out of season and therefore not too busy, the attitude and demeanour of the barmaid was less pleasant than it might have been. Teh chef was more sociable and did chat to us before we left. It was fairly comfortable, and the prices weren’t too high for the location. Two ales on, Otter Bitter and Tribute, both in average condition. Keg choices were Korev, Guinness, Rattler, Carlsberg, Sam Miguel and three Thatcher’s fruit ciders. Not the best of the three pubs in this vicinity.

Okay little waterfront pub, but only a small verandah to the seaside, then the prom, with further seating beyond shared with a caff - but plastic only over there. Whuh? Hamstrings one's movement. Not too pricey a pint. Smells very strongly of fish with a strongly fruits de la mer menu. One for the piscivore.
