Lovely little thatched village pub that has effectively been turned into a traffic island. Heavily aimed at food with extensive menu (not serving all day), but at least retains individual character rather then being a chain refurbishment. A nice low entrance leads you into some traditional rooms, with beams and brickwork, with a largeish conservatory extension off the side. Also has a nice outdoor area by a stream. A couple of good ales on and worth a visit, although looks as though it could get busy at peak times.
