A roadside Marston's pub on a busy town road. There is a car park at the side from which a covered seating area leads to the single L-shaped bar. One end of the bar is laid to table, the front is a large bar area with gaming machines, a pool table and a variety of seating. There is a definite football theme, the ceiling and walls being liberally decorated with scarves and flags. The staff were very efficient, the customers during this visit were exclusively male, so it was all very blokey and convivial, and there was live footy on the TV. Food is a mix of sandwiches and bulk-produced pub grub. Two ales on, Razorback and Fortyniner. The beers weren't very well kept, lacking body and flavour, but were still potable. OK to stop for a swift one when passing.
