Graham Coombs left this review about The Crown Inn
Fairly typical Vintage Inn conversion of a large village local into an eating house. Whatever the old bar layout was has been swept away and replaced with the usual mixture of stone floors, distressed timber beams etc, extending through various extension rooms at the rear. Just to confirm its standing, the imposing frontage entrance from the village is unused, with access only from the car park. Reasonable range of beers, including a couple of Ringwoods; those sampled in adequate although not superb condition (Cask Marque). Standard sort of Vintage Inns menu. Not unpleasant if you are looking for an eatery, but lacking any real character.
