Bugle Tap, Southport

Visited in March, which according to WhatPub, is when this new micro pub opened. Three of four hand pulls in active service at the time of my visit - two by Problem Child of Parbold. I went for the Darth Vegas, which was a decent stout in good condition, at £2.20 for a half. This venue uses the Real Ale Finder app.

It's a dimly lit place with dark well polished wooden benches and candles on each table. Mainly low level seating but but a few barrels with high chairs and stools.

Music was playing and there was a nice chilled out vibe, even with me as the sole customer for most of the duration of my visit.

Dog friendly and treats are available. There is a single shared toilet.

It was all very clean throughout, a nice place and well worth 8/10 in my book - in fact it was the best place I visited in Southport that day. I would do well to consider returning!
