No cask. Keg offering of Tetley's, Somersby Apple cider, Carlsberg, K1664, Guinness and Angelo Poretti (just K1664 and Angelo Poretti in the 1838 Bar).
Large hotel bar in this grandest of Bournemouth hotels. Vast carpeted, high ceiling space with the bar counter on the left-hand side of the space. Seating via a mish mash of regular tables and chairs and a healthy dose of green leather Chesterfield sofas. Venue stuffed with holidaymakers on my late evening trek to my hotel bar. Extensive paved patio area at the rear with regular patio furniture, again well occupied, before a large grassy area that also presents a more limited set of seating options. There is a smaller, probably fair to say classier, bar called the 1838 Bar, tartan pattern carpet, with the bar counter against the rear wall and with tall stool seating at the bar counter. Seating mainly via red and green studded leather sofas and armchairs serving regular tables. There is a fire grate on the left-hand wall. Lots of function rooms, and a warren of corridors and interconnectedness.
