Visited 02/07/26. Visited previously for ticking on 07/11/23, but only more recently have they added a draught beer selection and coinciding with the addition of a dedicated bar area for drinkers so revisited to review and add to PG.

No cask. Keg offering of a house lager which is a collab with Lost & Grounded, the the L&G pale ale Wanna Go to the Sun, Guinness, and Thatchers Rascal cider.

Classy bar attached to the restaurant Pasture next door. There is a good amount of seating outside at the front. Inside two parts, left-hand side is ceramic tiled with the bar counter in the rear right-hand corner with tall stool seating at the bar counter. There is an orange leather banquette under the front window serving regular tables, then regular tables and chairs in the main floor space and tall tables down the left-hand wall with tall, backed stools to the rear left-hand corner to opposite that end of the bar counter. Bare brick wall on the left-hand side, a mirrored wall on the right-hand side and ambient lighting. No screens and a poppy soundtrack on my early evening visit. The other part, the right-hand side of Parallel, is a recent expansion and so makes this a bar serving drinkers irrespective of diner attendance on existing left-hand side (although I’ve never been turned away as a drinker in that part). The dedicated bar area has the bar counter on the left-hand wall, a classy bar counter with tall stool seating, and an impressive lighting array above the bar counter. Matching orange/red leather banquettes down the right-hand side in the windows serving tall tables with similar on the white tiled wall at the rear, and under the front window ahead of the bar counter.

Note, they don't currently have a separate website for Parallel Bar, and as they don't take bookings for the new bar, i doubt they will introduce a dedicated website for the bar!
