Formerly the Linton & Woodhorn Social Club , now rebranded as a pub but still feeling quite clubbish. The decor is fairly bizarre, ranging from barrels to banquettes, from mural borders to concealed coloured lighting under a surfeit of baronial chandeliers. A plastic heron can be spotted overlooking proceedings. There are a smattering of TV screens and a couple of pool tables to the rear, while some stairs lead up to Lord knows what. No cask of course and the beer selection is very mundane (John Smiths, Caffreys etc). Friendly enough but I have no real reason to return.
