The Whippet, Liverpool Street, EC2

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Whippet

New Bloomsbury Leisure corner pub just around the corner from Liverpool Street station, with a compact L-shaped bar. Modern look, as you would expect, with full-height glazing in a pair of large windows and around the entrance doorway and dark redish-brown tiling further back. Only a limited number of tall tables around the periphery and external drink shelves, so very much a vertical drinking establishment. Ghost Ship (£5.20, and a bit warm) and Theakston Best Bitter from the three handpumps on the counter. Up to 12 keg beers and ciders from taps on the bar-back, including a cooling pint of Tegernsee Hell (£6.70). An interesting addition to the area.
