Prominent pub / bar where the wider venue also hosts a restaurant and entertainment space. There some pavement seating out the front, popular on a sunny early evening. Inside it is a long rectangle along the pavement side, carpeted apart from a boarded skirt along the two serving sides of the bar counter which is on the rear wall mid venue. There is some tall stool seating at the right-hand end of the front side and at the smaller side on the left-hand end of the bar counter. Regular tables and chairs over on the left-hand side which extends beyond the end of the bar counter and in the opened-up frontage to the right of the entrance. Over on the right-hand side up a step is an area with a pool table and there are quite a few TVs dotted around the venue showing the snooker absent commentary, the sound provided by a very pop based soundtrack. I won't lie to you this is not hot on the beer front, but when you get a medley of Stranglers hits being belted out you don't need chocolates or chow mein.
