As with many former working men's clubs, this one does not photograph well, and it's not much better on the inside. No cask beer, but the keg options include Worthington, which I find the most palatable of the nitrokeg beers. Advertised as £2/pint, but the licensee told me he has to sell half a barrel before tomorrow when a new system and different beers is being installed, so it was just £1. There's a full size snooker table, as well as pool and darts, and with a football pitch about 20 metres from the front door, I'd obviously come to the right place. I was here to see if Kiveton Park FC could get at least a point at Denaby Main, to get themselves out of the relegation zone. (This is Step 11, so good quality football is not anticipated.)
