Although this is referred to in online reviews and articles as Burts Burgers and is basically a cafe, I did notice three keg taps on the end of the bar as I was passing the window, so I popped in and asked if it was ok to have just a drink. This was not a problem, and there were in fact a few stools tucked under the ledge of the bar counter for drinkers (and I suppose, burger eaters) to perch if they didn't want to take up a table. There were two lagers and a hazy pale ale from Verdant, Lightbulb 4.5%, which was served at a reasonable temperature and not too gassy, the only painful bit was paying £3.50 for half a pint of beer that is not really to my taste.
