Strongers . left this review about The Diner At Number Four
The Diner at Number Four is, unsurprisingly, an American themed diner that looked inviting through the large open venetian blinded windows, and on seeing a serving counter I decided to go off-piste and give it a go. The floor is laminate throughout and a central serving counter across the rear faces seating across the front windows. There are televisions on the walls to the left and right that were airing muted Sky Sports while some background music played. There’s more seating to the left, but this isn’t a massive place. I counted four keg fonts on the bar that were pouring three premium lagers alongside Aspall’s cider, which I decided to have a half of. It was only after I’d been sat down for a while that I realised I was hungry and I should’ve ordered some food, doh! This is primarily a dry led establishment so I’ll not be returning just for a beer again, but the hosts were very friendly and enthusiastic so I will eat here next time I’m in town.
