Battered looking exterior that doesn't even look like it might still be a pub. Pushed the door though and indeed there is outlet, an odd one at that. Whiff of council house, weirdly knocked about with a mish-mash of refurbs and very small over two rooms with few seats or tables but a preponderance of flashing machines. Pretty spartan interior bar some 1980s brick arches. Jumbo screen with F3 with an audience of nil; the barman and local were playing cards at the bar. Two cask pumps both labelled Batemans but both off, so a good half of Guinness to get the tick. Odd place, feels like it's being run as a less-than-enthusiastic hobby.
