Beautiful looking former bank/library. Can it be coincidence that the Unicorn opposite has closed down, as this opens? Probably, they survived the threat from much cheaper Wetherspoons for years.
Everything you would expect from a BCA pub - the decor, in their shade of tartan. The AC Units. The cobs. The breweries you have probably never heard of. The protection of traditional cider/perries.
They do pubs very well, to a formula.
