Third Avenue has an island bar with just two draught options of Peroni (£3.50 for a half) and Meantime. There are stools around the bar and tables run up the right-hand wall to a rear dining area where some mums who lunch were in situ. There was some non-descript background music playing that added little to the already non-existent atmosphere during a Saturday afternoon visit. The service was polite, but I’m not really into the euro café bar vibe, but I imagine the covered veranda up the right-hand side of the building is a nice spot on a summers day. The bar is also connected to the Catch & Grill seafood restaurant next door, so the smells may be interesting when both are busy.
