I entered the Dartmouth Inn from the rear entrance so was presented with a poor draught selection of standard keg and Madri from the back bar. If I’d have come in the front entrance the options of Proper Job, Jail Ale and a couple of Rosie’s ciders would have been available on cask, but I ended up with half a Carling which set me back a whopping £2.65. The pub is carpeted throughout and there’s a mezzanine with upstairs seating. There’s a dartboard case on the wall, but some shifting of furniture would be need to play on it. However there is a pool table that was being used by a couple of locals. I didn’t find it to be very welcoming in here and it’s very expensive so I’ll not be returning.

Very nice pub set back from the road in its own square. Very pleasant white stone bricked walled bar area with old style wood burning fire and a second room set for dining. Four hand pumps but only two beers which were Courage Best an St Austells if I remember correctly
Didn’t eat here but they were advertising a carvery at £5. Very pleasant to sit outside on the umbrella bench seating in the square, which is equipped with heaters for the colder evenings.
