Situated a few arches along the railway line from the excellent Wigan Central, it's easy to dismiss this place. It has a different USP from Wigan Central, specialising in craft beers. In fact, there is no cask at all.
The premises are similar to many breweries that are located in railway arches. Everything looks fairly temporary. Seating is on benches.
In addition to numerous lagers, I noted Sierra Nevada Pale, Kona Big Wave, Bullhouse Rolling Papers, Delirium Red, Westmalle Dubbel, Floris Farmhouse, Camden Pale & Stout, Leffe Blonde, La Trappe Blonde & Dubbel, Uiltje Bird of Prey & Juicy Lucy, Rodenbach Fruitage & Wily Fox Prohibition. I didn't notice the Prohibition until I'd already ordered a Juicy Lucy!
Music was quite loud, but there weren't many people in. If you like Belgian-style beers or more unusual foreign types (including lagers), this could be the place for you. But we didn't stay long, preferring instead to finish our evening in Wigan Central. I suspect we won't get as far as Arch 6 next time we're in Wigan.
