This former Mill was only reopened towards the end of last year. This stone built building has been converted into an 8 bed Hotel along with restaurant and bar. The interior has retained all the stone walls, along with low beam ceilings and an open fore position between two rooms in the bar/ restaurant area and the flooring is carpeted throughout.
The main bar had 8 handpumps, with 6 in use serving beer from Boston Brewery in Pickering, with all the pumpclips relating to different types of dogs. Our choice on this visit was Bitter That, EY UP Cocka, Waggie's Tail, No Mither, Blood Hound and Sniffer's Stout. Their beer was excellent and so was our lunch and at a reasonable price.
