Nice place with a friendly owner, who was telling a customer that the ales aren't selling as well as he'd hoped. 3 pumps with 2 on, Bowland Pheasant Plucker and Titanic Plum Porter. I had the Bowland, priced at £2.50 a half. As Rob says below, loads of bottles/cans available for take out, including quite a lot of Belgian beers. It's a decent spot, so I can see it doing well here.

Newish micropub facing the Miller & Carter. Up a few steps to the entrance means that it's not disabled friendly. A fairly basic room, but it's well decorated and the furniture is comfortable. Loads and loads of bottles/canned available for take out. Three handpumps on the bar serving guest ales. On this occasion Titanic Plum Porter and two from Bowland. I find Bowland beers a bit bland, but there was nothing wrong with the way they were kept. Both our beers were in good nick and we both really liked the place. especially Ms CAMRA. We'll be coming here again soon.

New continental beer bar. Opened 14.12.24. Fourteen taps are available, plus, over a hundred different bottled beers. Real ale is on three of the lines.
