A rather dingy, dull seaside cafe bar whose main business is serving cheap food to grockles. There is a good-sized outside seating area, with wooden benches and tables, at the front with great views across the bay, or at least there was until someone parked a Transit van in front of the cafe. Inside, the cafe consists of a single small room with a tiny bar at one side. There was no space to stand and drink, while the bar counter was next to the kitchen door, meaning it was uncomfortable even to stand while waiting for a drink. No cask ale or real cider, just a choice between Poretti, ‘Coast’ cider (whatever that was) and Shipyard. Dogs are not allowed in, and the staff weren’t particularly friendly. Probably the worst of the options currently in the area.
