Defiance is a mainly a gin house and you can book sessions to make your own gin. However from Thursday - Sunday it's also a bar selling Aspalls cider, Victoria lager and a keg IPA. It's a nicely done out space, industrial chic of course as it's part of an old mill. Called in for a couple the other Saturday and there was a pleasant atmosphere. They certainly know how to charge though. A pint of Victoria was £5.50 and an IPA £5.80, most of the gins started at about £7. It's not going to be a regular haunt, but Ms CAMRA liked it, so we'll probably be back at some point.
