A single room shop conversion with mostly barstool height seating throughout.Pretty much set out as a craft bar with 16 keg taps of A list brewers there are also two handpumps, these were occupied by two craft brewers that are now more than toe dipping in the cask sector, Verdant Penpol and Deya Steady Rolling Man which if a beer can be perfect this was it, superb quality and of course beer, I also had a keg beer from The Kernel, Tropical Stout, also top notch.
A revisit here is a certainty.

Visited 28/08/24.
The venue is a rectangle with the dark wood servery against the left-hand wall mid venue. the floor is tiled throughout, and most in here on my early evening visit were sitting at the bar on high stools. Seating is mainly via tall wall fixed tables down the right-hand wall with tall stools with dark green leather pads. There is a similarly upholstered banquette along the right-hand wall beyond the position of the servery. Lighting is quite low and there were a couple of very busy ceiling fans keeping the punters cool on a warm early evening. There is a Chopper bike fixed to the upper part of the wall opposite the banquette! There is an outside paved seating area with picnic style benches and good cover.
On handpump I noticed Redemption Hotspur, an amber bitter, and Thornbridge Jaipur, an IPA that seems to be quite popular in venues I have been to over the last few months. An extensive craft beer offering, covering a variety of breweries. Have posted a picture of the menu during my visit as a photo as being printed rather than handwritten it should be readable!
Nice addition to the local and upcoming drinking scene around Deptford station that is hitherto very "bar" focussed.

This is apparently a former bike cafe now converted to a micropub style venue with 2 local cask ales (The Kernel plus Anspach & Hobday), and some 10 keg taps (Kernel, Burnt Mill, Floc and more). The prices are not unreasonable and the cask Table Beer at 3.3% went down very easily. All the choices are listed on A4 sheets, though both pumps and all taps are properly clipped. A separate sheet is available for the wine drinkers.
Little expense seems to have been lavished on the interior with rough tiles on both the right side wall and floor; the bar is part-way down the left. They're saving on the electric too, with the subdued lighting making it hard to read non-electronic devices. Money has been spent though on numerous bar stools and a choice of high or low tables with properly padded green stools and banquettes.
There has also been some money spent on a sound system playing a range that will appeal to 6 Music listeners, especially those with a liking for Steely Dan (2 appearances so far this evening!).
The set-up works pretty well, even if the barman could have been slightly more clued up on the range (though the service was friendly enough).
The Lucky Anchor is a good option in a part of London which is clearly on the way up, with a wide range of night-time venues.
