Ferociously modern bar with a fair-sized pier/converted jetty jutting into the water which delivers the best garden view of the pubs on the waterside to the extent it also has its own little bar to complement the larger one inside. To be fair it doesn't claim to be something it isn't and does pretty well at being swish, chromium and modern – the interior has an upper level and a boat-shaped bar. Very limited keg range, so hello Madri to accompany my Athletic Bilbao top which at least made some waves with a couple of the pretty girls. Certainly not the sort of place I’d choose to frequent but I couldn’t help developing a grudging respect for it. If there was something more interesting to drink...
