Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Sports Bar & Grill
Rather cavernous sports bar close to the football stadium but overlooking a large grassed area that is probably used by various groups for training, etc. Sparsely furnished and almost empty early on a Friday afternoon, with a small stage at one end, an elongated counter along one side and a slightly raised area in one corner. One very disused handpump, so made do with a quick Brixton Reliance (£2.70, half).

The Sports Bar & Grill is the bar of Langney Sports which includes Eastbourne Borough Football Club, an indoor lawn bowls club and Eastbourne Archers. The large split-level seating open plan interior obviously has televisions for football football football. The bar counter up the left-hand wall supports standard keg alongside Birra Moretti and Cruzcampo. There is a lone hand pump but it looks like it’s stood unused for a long time. Pub grub is available at very reasonable prices, for the last England group match in the Euros a pint of Cruzcampo and a pie were £6. There’s a pool table and there used to be a couple of dartboards but I didn’t spot them. Maybe they’ve been moved to the Founder’s Bar which runs separately up the left-hand side of the building where it is available for hire. The staff are friendly, as are the locals, so I always enjoy my visits here. Opens at 16:30 Monday to Thursday and all day the rest of the week.
