Fairly upmarket hotel with small bar to the front left.

The landlady was holding court with a bunch of people in the bar, but this bar did not seem too welcoming to a stranger.

It is nicely laid out with a living wall one side and the bar to the rear. There is one central table and a couple of other small tables around the outside.

Beer options were confined to keg - Tennent's Lager, Magner's, Guinness, Inveralmond Ossian, Innis & Gunn Lager & Beer and Mangoes & Drygate Gladeye IPA.

I tried the Gladeye, which really wasn't to my taste. This place used to be the Carlston Hotel and stocked real ale, but it isn't worth stopping for these days.
