Cracking bar on the main drag in Penarth. Ostensibly a tapas restaurant but with a decent bar area with high tables and stools just inside the front door. Usual range of Spanish beers on tap but they also had a collaboration with a relatively local brewery in Llantrisant (Glamorgan Brewery) to have a decent pale ale (Toro Blanco Craft Pale Ale). Can only rate at a mid 5 as a place to drink as it won’t appeal to all but if I gave credit for the food offering it would be notched up a point or two. There are similar tapas bars part of their group in Cardiff Central and Bristol but haven’t tried out at this stage, as well as a high end restaurant by the Millennium stadium that whilst great couldn’t be construed as a bar!
