V new venue on Curtain Rd kitted out in style of traditional and rustic Irish pub. Bouncers on door on my arrival at 5.30pm but managed to get in so must be doing something right! Actually it was what I would describe as nicely busy, enough in to create an atmosphere but found a table in the corner to sup my pint of Murphy’s. Place pushes its cocktail and Irish whiskey offering so not much here for beer drinkers other than the aforementioned Murphy’s and some typical lagers. Live music Wed-Sat and late closing (as fitting of the area) Thurs-Sat. You definitely need to be comfortable with dark wood interiors to enjoy this venue fully.
